Hello, my name is Dr. Bert Brown an Ear, Nose, and Throat physician in Cleveland. I have two offices one located in Mayfield Heights which covers a large array of suburbs including Mayfield Heights, Euclid, Lindhurst, Mentor and Willoughby. And I also have an office in Macedonia which also gives me coverage more south including suburgs Soland, Twinsburg, and Hudson.
And both offices are accessible to all these suburbs.
My goal in medicine is to be accessible to my patients.
One thing that is happening in medicine is many people are joining bigger institutions. There are certainly benefits to a big institution but what gets lost is that individual care.
As an independent solo practitioner I really get to know my patients. So when they call my office the staff often knows who they are and the staff has a good feel for what's going on with them and allows us to really get them in when they really need to get in.
Accessibility is probably one of the best way to manage any problems that are evolving and prevent them from evolving into more serious ones.

Video Transcript: Hello my name is Dr Bert Brown, Ear Nose & Throat Physician in Cleveland.
I wanted to introduce myself and give you an idea of what my practice is all about.
I have offices in Mayfield Heights which is close to neighboring suburbs suchas Mayfield Heights, Lindhurst, and head north even into Euclid and Willoughby, even as far east as Chesterland.
I always have an office Macedonia which allows my patients to have access those who live in suburbs such as Twinsburg or Hudson or even as far as Akron
And Both of offices are located conveniently in such a way that people who live in Beachwood, Pepper Pike, or even Sohen can get to either office according to what works best for them.
My goal is in medicine is to be available to my patients. The trend in medicine nowadays is for many doctors to join the bigger institutions.
There are many reasons for that and one of them is its very hard to maintain a practice in this day and age with all the rules and regulations.
But the reason I went into medicine is to take care of people and get to know my patients--because I think the best medical care is one in which you really know your patient and can look at not only the the problem that you are focusing on or taking care of but also how the patients reacts to their problems as a whole.
When a patient calls my office I often know who they are and so does my staff.
When my staff triage's them or finds out what's going on they know the patients they determine whether they need to get in right away or whether its something that can wait
For those patients who really need to be seen or whatever the problem is--if it's something that's giving them a problem in dealing in what they need to do we are always accessible to our patients and we take great pride in that.
