Dr.. John McCarthy talks about training rural doctors (the TRUST program).

Dr. John McCarthy is an assistant dean from the University of Washington School of Medicine based at WSU Spokane. He works with first-year medical students in the TRUST (Targeted Rural Underserved Track) program. Those students are matched with clinics and hospitals in rural Washington. They spend time before, during and after their first years working in those clinics. Then they have a chance to go back to those facilities to work half of their third year of medical school.
