Dr. Michael Gross is the Founder and Managing Partner of Active Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1983.
Dr. Gross is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and holds a subspecialty certificate in Sports Medicine. Both certifications were granted by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. In addition, Dr. Gross has published numerous articles relating to knee, hip, shoulder, spine and ankle injuries and has served as a team physician for local high schools and colleges. Dr. Gross was named one of the top sixty-five shoulder surgeons in America by Beckers and has appeared on numerous local TV and radio stations as a sports medicine commentator and expert.
