About The Vampire Facelift™ by Dr. Amiya Prasad @ Prasad Cosmetic Surgery, New York
dr amiya prasad reviews:
New York's Dr. Amiya Prasad explains and performs The Vampire Facelift™ on a patient. Dr. Amiya Prasad was trained by Dr. Charles Runels, inventor of the Vampire Facelift™, and now offers his patients in New York and Long Island The Vampire Facelift™. Used to treat hollowing under eye area and cheeks losing volume with age as well as the area around the mouth, The Vampire Facelift™ is a great non-surgical solution without any downtime.
The patient undergoes a Vampire Facelift™ performed using a combination of hyaluronic acid (such as Restylane or Juvederm) with platelet rich fibrin matrix (activated platelet rich plasma or PRP) using the Selphyl of RegenLab system in an artistic way to restore the lost volume in the face. Dr. Prasad's Vampire Facelift™ patients enjoy natural results using their own blood that is then specially processed for use as a natural filler for the face, eyes, cheeks and mouth with immediate results and minimal bruising and swelling.
Administered like an injectable filler, the benefit of the Vampire Facelift™ continues over time after the procedure as the growth factors in the blood stimulate the body to create collagen and new blood vessels which create a beautiful complexion to the skin and enhance the face.
Dr. Prasad offers the Vampire Facelift™ procedure at his offices in Manhattan and Garden City, Long Island.

Pelleve Non-Surgical Skin Tightening - Amiya Prasad MD
NY Cosmetic Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Amiya Prasad, M.D., F.A.C.S. addresses RealSelf.com question:
What is Pelleve? A friend of mine said there is a new laser called Pelleve, that is now available in the U.S. Just what does this laser do? What is the downtime for it? Is it ideal for a skin with minimal issues? I have a nice skin, (just minor jaw line problems), but I'm wondering, is Pelleve something that would help keep my nice skin smooth? I don't have wrinkles either. Thank you.
Dr. Amiya Prasad's facilities are equipped with Pelleve Skin Tightening in New York City and Garden City, Long Island.

Vampire Facelift® Performed by Dr Amiya Prasad - Non-Surgical Facial Skin Rejuvenation
The Vampire Facelift® is a non-surgical treatment to improve skin quality and volume loss that occurs due to aging. It is often called a liquid stem cell facelift because of the use of your body's own stem cells for collagen generation. The term vampire comes from the primary component of the treatment called platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Platelet-rich plasma is contained in human blood. Prior to treatment, a blood draw is taken from the patient, and then spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the clear, yellowish plasma. This plasma contains platelets, the component of the blood that heals cuts, as well as other growth and healing factors, and activates your own adult stem cells that help produce collagen and increase blood supply to rejuvenate the skin.
Dr. Amiya Prasad is an oculofacial plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic procedures for the eyes and face, as well as full body cosmetic surgery. He is a proponent of platelet-rich plasma for skin quality improvement and for advanced regenerative healing, and also uses it in hair loss treatment. Dr. Prasad is licensed to perform the Vampire Facelift® in his offices in Manhattan, NYC, and in Garden City, Long Island. The Vampire Facelift® was originally invented by Dr. Charles Runels.
The Vampire Facelift® is different from a traditional facelift for more reasons than just being non-surgical. While a traditional facelift is about lifting the skin upwards to treat sagging and facial descent, the Vampire Facelift® is designed to lift the skin outwards to treat volume loss. Volume loss is comprised of loss of bone, muscle, fat and soft tissue as one ages. While the traditional facelift is generally appropriate for people starting in their mid 40s and older, the Vampire Facelift® is more for people in their late 30s where the face starts losing luster and volume, and fine lines start to appear.
The first step of Vampire Facelift® after a topical anesthetic is applied is the careful application of hyaluronic acid cosmetic fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, or Belotero. The filler is applied to strategically to the under eye area (tear trough) cheeks, nasolabial fold (AKA parentheses line), and the outer corner of the lip. Other areas of treatment include wrinkles on the nose (bunny lines), crow's feet, forehead wrinkles, and frown lines. Filler must be used artistically to prevent irregularities like bumps and lumps, and to maintain a natural look.
The second step is applying platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) under the skin for a synergistic effect with the hyaluronic acid filler. Platelet-rich fibrin matrix is platelet rich plasma with calcium chloride added to it to make it thicker and last longer. The combination of platelet-rich plasma/ fibrin matrix makes the effectiveness of the hyaluronic acid filler last longer as well. The treatment can also be done in conjunction with Botox/ Dysport treatments after consultation with your doctor.
The Vampire Facelift® application takes about 1 hour, including time is needed beforehand to prepare the platelet-rich plasma from the patient's own blood. While there may be some redness and slight bruising after the treatment, it will subside within a day or two.
The Vampire Facelift® for facial skin renewal will work continuously for three months after the treatment. The overall effects of the Vampire Facelift® will last over a year.
The Vampire Facial® differs from the Vampire Facelift® as not using any cosmetic fillers in the treatment.
