Deborah Gordon graduated from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) in 1979 and UCSF’s affiliated Family Practice residency in 1982. Since that time she has worked in a variety of medical settings, including community and migrant clinics, emergency departments, and private practice, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. For the last 25 years her practice has emphasized preventive medicine and she has encouraged patients to heal themselves with wise lifestyle choices. She has been a contributor and a speaker with the Weston Price Foundation and several different ancestral health organizations. Her greatest current interest concerns the intersection of genetics and lifestyle for health, disease, and healing. She is active with her local Farm to School organization and the women’s racing team with the Rogue Rowing Club.
