Cdr Elizabeth Hofmeister on her Career in Military Medicine

Cdr Hofmeister, the Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, previously served as a Deputy Command Surgeon with the Combined Security Transition Command in Kabul, Afghanistan, helping the Afghan military and police re-build its medical system. She is a recipient of the Building Stronger Female Physician Leaders for the MHS Award.
