Dr. Shweta Patel Introduction - Oregon Kidney & Hypertension Clinic

A west-coast native, Dr. Shweta Patel was born and raised in Northern California, where she completed her college degree in Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She subsequently moved to Ohio for Medical School and graduated from The University of Toledo. She stayed in the mid-west a bit longer and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Ready to move back west, she moved to Portland for her Nephrology Fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University, which she completed in 2014.

When not at work, Dr. Patel enjoys reading the “classics” and dancing. She looks forward to being a part of the McMinnville community and continuing to provide quality patient care to our residents.
