Dr Xiaoru Yang Introduction - DaVita Kidney Specialists of Fredericksburg

Hi, I am Dr. Xiaoru Yang and am one of the nephrologists working at DaVita Kidney Specialists of Fredericksburg.

I completed my Internal Medicine Residency training in 2013 at Kingsbrook Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Afterwards I moved to Washington, DC and pursued my Nephrology Fellowship training at Georgetown University Hospital.

After fellowship, I provided comprehensive nephrology care for patients in Florida, especially in the geriatric population. I have handled a variety of cases involving resistant hypertension, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and kidney transplantation.

In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive experience in medical research and have published more than twenty peer-reviewed articles. I was a research faculty member at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine from 2008-2010.

I feel strongly that the secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient. I am dedicated to working closely with my patients to improve their health.
